FADN authorities

DG AGRI Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, European Commission

coordinates the activities of the national Liaison Agency FADN,

takes over and checks the company data of member countries,

ensures the processing of the FADN database of all EU member countries for the needs of the EC,

ensures the publication of FADN investigation results in official media and on EU web portals, commissions and coordinates solutions for international projects and analyzes using the EU FADN database for CAP needs,

proposes FADN legislative acts and methodical materials regarding the operation of the network,

prepares the meeting agenda of the FADN EU Steering Committee.

FADN EU Steering Committee

is a supervisory and management body at EC level, in which each member state has one representative.
The commission meets several times a year. The delegated representative for the Czech Republic is the head of the Liaison Agency FADN CR.
Activities of commission:

basic legislative acts regulating the functions of the FADN are prepared and approved,

FADN methodical materials are discussed,

presented and analyzed the results of FADN surveys and projects using the FADN database,

methodical, organizational and operational issues of the functioning of the system within the EU are solved.

The basic functions and competences of the aforementioned bodies are defined by Council Regulation (EC) No. 1217/2009 on the establishment of an agricultural accounting data network for the collection of data on income and economic activity of agricultural enterprises in the European Community.

FADN National Committee in the Czech Republic

The FADN National Commission is the control and management body of the Minister of Agriculture in relation to the Agricultural Accounting Data Network of the Czech Republic and its bodies. The creation of the commission results from the decision of the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic dated 6 October 2003. The statute of the commission is defined by Council Regulation No. 79/65/EEC on the establishment of the Agricultural Accounting Data Network for the collection of data on the income and economic activity of agricultural enterprises in the European Economic Community. The commission acts as needed, but at least once a year. Its activity began on October 7, 2004.
